As a rail fanatic, I hate to admin that I didn’t know cable railways and funicular railways were the same thing until today! It’s a very interesting post and I suggest you check it out if you want to know more about funicular railways, but I’m warning you, you’ll want to go on one ASAP after you finish reading it!

You know that story about lines and how parallel lines have the saddest part of all since they are never going to meet?
In an attempt to tell us how things can happen somehow, our Math professor told us: “Parallel lines meet at a point in infinity.”
Look at the train tracks above, for instance. We can see that the two bars on either side that indicate the path of the train are parallel; but because of the angle at which the picture is taken, as the two bars go on, it would seem like they were bound to meet each other. At some point. In infinity.
It really kind of depends on how you look at it. And that is how it goes for everything else in life, I guess. Nothing is impossible. Hallelujah.
Who is going on a train tour this year?
I wish I could say I had an exciting holiday break, but sadly I didn’t! One thing I did do over the break was catch up on a lot of different blogs and got extremely jealous when I came across this one. The lucky duck author got to go on a train tour for their holiday vacation and you guys already know how much I love train trips!
I did have a lot of fun spending time with my friends and family which was great, but I doubt you guys want to hear about that! I wish I had more to share with you guys, but I can’t think of one noteworthy thing that happen over break!
